Nature's Bond: A Mother-Daughter Backpacking Adventure

Embark on a transformative journey, sharing a different side of yourself with your daughter. Remove the distraction of electronics and discover the beauty of the great outdoors together, through a carefully curated backpacking experience. This adventure is designed to foster connections, create lasting memories, and celebrate the unique bond between mother and daughter.

By guiding you through the whole experience, Awe-Ventures will make planning and preparation as easy as possible, so you can focus your thoughts on excited anticipation of the trip.

We’ll camp near high alpine lakes amongst some of the most beautiful scenery in the Sierra Nevada Mountains! We’ll guide the group every step of the way to help you navigate the trails and become comfortable with the nuances of camping in the wilderness. Expect to be hiking 3- 6 miles per day, at altitude (6500 ft.–7500ft.) with a 25-30 lb. pack. It’ll be a 3 day/ 2-night trip. You’ll learn what to do and what to bring to be self-sufficient in the outdoors through a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

This trip is designed for varying skill levels, and our experienced guides will tailor the itinerary to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience for both novice and experienced backpackers.
